Inheriting the talent of a rich family background of creativity in multiple fields, including music and drama, Chamma as he is fondly known has over 22 years experience in the MARCOM industry.

Chamma is well known for his deep insight into the masses, their customs and their different unique lifestyle. This knowledge enables him to connect, understand and focus on each brand respecting and strengthening its own individuality and personality.

Chamma has been the recipient of multiple awards in multiple categories at the SLIM, Chillies and Sumathi Awards and has also been on the panel of judges in many esteemed award presentations throughout his career. Chamma also recently produced the highly acclaimed and popular Sinhalese Movie ‘Adharaneeya Kathawak,’a moving love story which targeted young adults.

Indunil Galappaththy

Indu´s expertise and passion lies in his eye for detail and his uncompromising effort towards consistent, outstanding and effective creativity across all mediums.

With over 25 enriching, colourful years of agency experience including a long stint abroad, he is proud of his long, successful and satisfying tenure at Bates Asia as a Creative Director and Group Head for over 8 years. Indu is the strategically sound, creatively innovative arty, wind beneath the wings of many award winning creative campaigns, across a wide range of brands.

He has also enjoyed playing a significant and defining role in the brand development of products, services and corporate image building on his exciting journey forward in the MARCOM industry.

Shyaman Premasundara

Shyaman has over 19 years expertise in the advertising, television & film production industry along with prominent experience and portfolio as a Director of over approximately 800 TV commercials thus far.

 He is a proud winner of numerous awards at the Presidential, Sarasavi and OCIC award ceremonies. Has also been Awarded Best Director multiple times for Commercial Productions at the SLIM and Chillie Awards.

He has also played a key role in the inception of putting together an all - star creative & practical thinking Ad agency.

Nalin Desa

Director / CD

Nalin is an ad veteran who is armed with over 20 years’ experience in the advertising and designing industry, 7 years at Bates Asia and 8 years collectively at Phoenix Ogilvy and Blitz.

Nalin has led many creative, thematic art based award winning campaigns He is proud to have played a leading role in the brand development of leading brands and corporates. 

Nalin is also attributed with the special talent of conceptualizing and designing logos, packs and labels of top FMCG and other diverse products and corporates including Chocolates, Biscuits, Milk and Perfumes, Beer and Alcohol.

He has been responsible for the concept and designing of labels for a variety of leading beer brands in the country. Not forgetting, recent pack designing of top ‘Cargills’ and Kotmale brands and products.

Sangeetha Sathianathan

Head of Tamil Creative

Sangeetha is a Colombo University -BA qualified, multiple talented creative personality with a wealth of experience and awards behind her.

Armed with over 8 years experience as a creative writer and then creative head at leading Marcom agencies in the Island.

Sangeetha specializes in analyzing and understanding the thinking and behavioral pattern of the Tamil masses. She then uses that knowledge, added to her previous experience as a Tamil language teacher to a strategical plan, which she converts into a powerful communication platform followed by an effective and innovative Marcom campaign targeted exclusively to the Tamil market. 

Apart from her role as a writer her versatility extends to include her talent as a voicing artist and a Bharathanatyam dancer, a fusion of theatre and art which enriches her naturally inquisitive, well-read, ad personality.
